Chipress

We are a group of hardware engineers from Silicon Valley. We founded Chipress Academy and wrote the book series “Crack the Hardware Interview” to help undergraduate / graduate students and working professionals prepare for the digital design / verification interviews.

We have been through multiple rounds of hardware interviews, and understand how stressful and struggling the process can be. We also suffered the same pain as you might have when desiring to grow further or explore new opportunities in this field. Unlike software engineers who are able to find countless online sources such as LeetCode, Stack Overflow, etc., hardware engineers can hardly find their counterparts. The golden information is here and there, but nowhere summarizes it in an organized way that can be easily followed.

This website and the book series “Crack the Hardware Interview” are designated to share our knowledge, experience and view towards digital design / verification interviews. In particular, the structure of this book series is organized in the same way as how the modern ASIC / VLSI industry partitions the workflow.
